Palestinians – including Christians –  have been living under occupation for decades. The latest war in Gaza has been classified as genocide by international and Israeli human rights organisations. In his newest book, “Christ in the rubble”, Rev Isaac unpacks how theology has been used to justify horrifying actions against Palestinians and calls us all to take responsibility, particularly as followers of Christ. On this evening, we will ask: how do we make sense of our positioning as (German) Christians in light of a genocide, and how do we leverage religion as a force for life rather than death in this conflict?
